Passenger Locator Forms known as PLF forms Entering Greece and Returning to the UK.

It is important to note that:-

The Passenger Locator Form (PLF) is a key element All travellers must complete their PLF until the day before entering the country, providing detailed information on their point of departure, the duration of previous stays in other countries, and the address of their stay while in Greece. In case of multiple stays, they are required to provide the address for the first 24 hours at least.

Our location doesn’t have a street name, how can I fill in the form?

Answer:-

The most common question we get asked from U.K Tourists entering Greece is that the address of the Hotel/Apartment or House they are staying at will not be accepted. This is because Zakynthos does not have street names outside of town. So, to avoid this we would suggest you enter your address as such:-

Name of Hotel/Apartment/House:- ABC Sea Hotel

Street name number:- Here you would put the resort name Kalamaki/Laganas/ Argassi etc.:- Kalamaki 29100

Province:- Zakynthos

Postcode:29100 is the general postcode for Zakynthos, some have been using this for the street number as shown above.

Country:– Greece.

I am travelling with my family/partner… Do I need to fill out a form for them too?

THIS HAS NOW CHANGED….. Pleas see UPDATED.

Answer. Yes. You and the people you’re travelling with must all complete a separate form. Fines will be imposed if forms are not filled out.

If you’re travelling with someone under 18 years old, they do not need their own form if you:

  • will arrive and leave together
  • staying at the same address.

You will however, have to add their details on YOUR form.

UPDATED

The Passenger Locator Form (PLF) is a key element in the planning. All travelers must complete their PLF until the day before entering the country, providing detailed information on their point of departure, the duration of previous stays in other countries, and the address of their stay while in Greece. In case of multiple stays, they are required to provide the address for the first 24 hours at least. One PLF should be submitted per family.

Do you also have to add your travel partner on this form on the “travel companions- family” or “Travel Companions – Non-Family / Non-Same Household” section?

Answer:- Yes.

Whoever you are travelling with, you would have to enter their details on your form. Don’t forget this is to help tracking if covid has proven positive.

What section will I add them to?

If a person lives in the same house as you with the same address as you but is not your blood relative they would come under family/travel companions… if you do not live in the same house, you do not have the same address then it would come under travel companions under non family non -same houshold.

How do I fill out my flight details?

The PLF form asks for flight details ie flight number but it asks for 2 letters and upto 4 digits some flights such as TUI flight codes have a three letter code. eg:-TOM1234. All you need to do is put the exact code in the box.  Your flight codes can be found on your tickets.

I have filled out my form and haven’t received my QR codes, what do I do?

Answer. Your (QR) Quick Response code will be given to you on the day of your scheduled arrival in Greece (at midnight) and will be notified via email (the QR code will be provided in a link in the confirmation email).  If you are travelling the previous day, you will be allowed to show your confirmed e-mail as the QR code will be received during your travels.

I am married but my name on my passport still has my maiden name, what do I do?

Answer:- The details you provide are a way of contacting you IF necessary. The name you are traveling on and the name that is on your official documents must be included on the PLF form. Some have also provided a copy of their marriage certificate if needed.

Who do I put for an emergency contact? Someone in Greece or the U.K?

Answer. Obviously if you have family in Greece you would put those down and make sure they have an e-mail contact, too. If you do not have family in Greece, then put someone who can be easily contacted in the U.k. Again they must have an e-mail address.
