8th group of the 3rd national division

A closer look at the standings, with four games remaining.

The 22nd game of the 8th group, of the 3rd national division of the was completed, last weekend – 17/03. Kalamata in the last moments  of the game against Distomo managed to win the match with Pindoni and stay at the top of the 8th group with 56 points. At the other end of the group, Amvryssea with its defeat ‘are in for adventures’, as they have 23 points in the group league with their next opponent in the ratings Asteras Vlachioti with 31 points. Therefore, in order to save the team of Viotia, wonders and miracles need to happen in the remaining 4 games.

Second in the ratings is Aspropyrgos, who with difficulty won Ypato by 0-1. Giorgos Vazakas’s team has 54 points, two less than Kalamata and it looks like everything will be judged in the 24th game, where both teams will resolve their differences (Aspropyrgos v’s Kalamata). Ypato has 35-points ensuring their stay in the category.

In the Argolic derby, Panargeiakos beat Ermionida by 1-0, in a game that was indifferent in relation to the ratings.

In Lakonia, Asteras Vlachioti, at the last minute, gained a point from the strong team of Katastari, with a 1-1 draw. The islanders have terrible complaints of the refereeing of Koutsanastasi. Nevertheless, Katastari has secured that they remain in the category (mathematically they want only one point) having 34 points and the Lakonians are very close to remaining, having 31 points.

Panarkadikos literally “stumbled” in Messina against the demoted but fighting Pamisso (0-0) with the Arkadians ‘in a mess’ having 32 points, but with a very difficult programme.

Pellana won over Ikosimia at Kefalonia and with 35 points remain in the category. Finally, Lerna Union won their away game against Mandraikos, both being demoted to their local divisions.
