The announcement is that our patron saint will be taken from his chamber and placed on the Holy throne for people to pay tribute
Not only will cannons be fired but also church bells will chime loudly. Locals across every village will get their hunting guns and fire into the air. Ferry boats will sound their horns.
All join in the Senio amd start celebrating our Patron Saint and Protector.
