On the occasion of “World Tourism Day” our Regional Office is organizing an event at 12:00Noon today. The event will take place in front of the Regional Office building in Zakynthos town. The event is co-organized by The Regional Office of Zakynthos, the Zakynthos Municipality and the Hoteliers Association.
The action plan will include greetings and awards for both those who helped with the fires and those who have made a significant contribution to hosting refugees and immigrants.
The event will be accompanied by music and dance groups and of course the local tastes could not be missed, as the emphasis is on promoting local gastronomy.
Representatives of the Fire Brigade, the Port Authority and Police have been invited, whilst the Zakynthos MP, Dionysios Aktipis, will address representatives of the island’s hoteliers and volunteer associations will deliver their greetings.
