Intubated in an Intensive Care Unit for COVID-19 at the University Hospital of Larissa, a 27-year-old surgeon is being treated.
According to larissanet, the 27-year-old showed the first symptoms of coronavirus infection, when she returned from a vacation in Halkidiki and then remained under house arrest until Tuesday afternoon, when the symptoms became more intense.
She was immediately admitted to the General Hospital of Larissa, while from midnight, when her health condition deteriorated, her hospitalization in the ICU was deemed necessary.
According to the local website, this is the sixth person to be treated in the ICU of the General Hospital, while as announced on Tuesday afternoon by EODY, a total of 26 patients are treated in the ICU, of which only 53% had an underlying disease or age over 70 years old.
