As of tomorrow, Monday 21st December at 06.00, the measure of home isolation of seven (7) days for those who come to Greece from Great Britain comes into force – The announcement of the Civil Protection New emergency measures for the arrival of travellers from Great Britain have been announced by the Civil Protection, due to the new coronavirus strain that has been detected in the country and is a mutation, which, according to Boris Johnson, is transmitted at a faster rate.
In detail:-
Regarding all arrivals from the United Kingdom, it is announced that from tomorrow, Monday 21st December at 06.00, the measure of home isolation of seven (7) days comes into force, instead of three (3) days that applies to arrivals from every other country.
It is noted that this new measure is complementary to the existing ones, ie the obligation of all travellers to have a negative molecular (PCR) test of 72 hours continues to apply, while they will continue to undergo a mandatory test upon arrival in the country.
Once on arrival they must self isolate for at least SEVEN (7) days.
