The Ionian Islands Regional Police Directorate General announced that tomorrow, Wednesday (02-10-2019) as part of the exercise “PARMENION 2019”, there will be a pilot activation of ALL the Civil Defense Alarm buzzers, such as the following:
• At 11:00A.M , an air raid alarm signal, for sixty (60) seconds (intermittent sound).
• At 11:05A.M, the alarm signal for sixty (60) seconds (continuous volume constant sound), signalling the end.
The activation of the Civil Defense Alarms sirens is purely for trial purposes and there is no need for confusion or concern.
