Alexandra Avenue and the streets near the Court of Appeals looked like a battlefield for about 15 minutes after a small group of anti-authoritarians attacked police forces. Throwing a cocktail of firebombs at the police in a thoughtless move just minutes after the court ruled Golden Dawn a criminal organization and a political court records.
As a result, police responded with chemicals, flash bombs and water cannons.
The majority of the crowd protesting peacefully were forced to disperse after the atmosphere became intense.
