The General Secretariat for Civil Protection has given eight instructions in the context of the information effort on how to protect against the new covid-19.

The eight guidelines are:

  1. Wash your hands as often as you can, and thoroughly with soap and water or an alcoholic solution. We generally avoid touching with our nose, mouth and eyes with our hands.

  3. Discard the tissue with caution immediately after use.
  4. Avoid close contact when we have cold symptoms (such as cough, fever, runny nose, sore throat) or with people who have these symptoms and especially with the elderly or people with chronic illness.
  5. If you have symptoms of fever, cough or difficulty breathing and have travelled to an affected area, contact your doctor or EODY (tel. 2105212054) and stay at home.
