Only 17 new cases of coronavirus in Greece in the last 24 hours, with the total number reaching 2,224, according to the announcement of the Ministry of Health. At the same time, three of our fellow citizens lost their lives, bringing the total number of victims to 108.
Of these, 29 were women (26.5%) and the rest were men. The average age of our deceased fellow citizens was 74 years and 89.8% had an underlying disease and / or age of 70 and older.
The distribution of cases.
Of the 2,224 cases, 56% involve men. Of these, 568 (25.5%) are considered travel-related from abroad and 927 (41.7%) are related to an already known case.
Meanwhile, 71 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their average age is 67 years. 14 (19.7%) are women and the rest are men. 83.1% have an underlying disease or are over 70 years of age. Another 35 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
