New measures to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus in Greece, were announced by the government due to the worrying increase in cases in our country.
By decision of the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection, Nikos Hardalias and after a suggestion of the Committee of Infectious Diseases, it was decided that visitors from Malta, from Wednesday 12 August 2020 at 00:01, are required to show a negative molecular control (PCR) result for coronavirus, which will have been carried out up to 72 hours before their entry into Greece.
Also, after a relevant recommendation of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece, all the liturgies are suspended for the next period of time, as well as all kinds of trade fairs.
Finally, regarding the measure of banning standing customers in all nightclubs, bars, clubs, live music centers, bars-restaurants, cafes-bars, etc., with the possibility of conversion of use in shops with table seats, it extends until 31-08-2020.
