Ferries to Kefalonia.

SCHEDULES FROM 20/05/2022 TILL 30/09/2022.

 

Ferries to Kefalonia leave Zakynthos on a daily basis during the summer months. To connect islands you would have to travel to the port of Agios (Saint) Nikolaos, which is in Volimes, located in the northwestern part of the island of Zakynthos. Not to be confused with the area of Saint Nikolaos of Vasilikos.

FROM ZAKYNTHOS(AGIOS NIKOLAOS) TO KEFALONIA(PESSADA)

Ferries leave from Zakynthos on a daily basis from the port of Saint Nikolaos in Volimes, DAILY.
Departure times are at 09.45a.m in the morning, and then once again in the evening at 19.45p.m. The actual trip takes approximately an hour and forty five minutes. The ferry docks at the port of Pessada in Ferries to Kefalonia. It is just a small little quay, don’t expect it to be like Zakynthos. There are however taxis that service the ferry boat when it arrives.

FROM KEFALONIA(PESSADA) TO ZAKYNTHOS(AGIOS NIKOLAOS)

Ferries leaving from Ferries to Kefalonia to Zakynthos are on a DAILY bases.
One in the morning at 07.30a.m and the other in the evening at 18.00p.m

About ferries to Kefalonia

As Kefalonia is a popular desitination, connections from Zakynthos can be easily achieved during the summer months.  Kefalonia is also linked with various other ports as well. There is a daily ferry to Kefalonia from Killini, in mainland Peloponnese. This ferry trip takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes, arrives at the port of Poros in Kefalonia and runs 3-4 times per day. In high season, there is also a ferry from Killini to Argostoli, the capital of the island.

There is also a ferry to Kefalonia, particularly to the port of Sami, from Patras. This ferry continues to Ithaca. In summer, there is also a ferry to Kefalonia (Sami port) from Italy.

There are no ferries from Athens to Kefalonia, only flights or coach. See ( KTEL Kefalonia)

In general, there are ferries to Kefalonia (Sami) from:
Patras, Ithaca, and Astakos. Ferries from Poros Kefalonia go to Killini Peloponnese.
