Bad start for Agalas, just before the start of the fire season with the first fire causing minor damage to Andronios.
The village’s volunteer team was found somewhat unprepared as attempts to take over the village’s firefighting vehicle to man it and intervene immediately have failed. However, the volunteers who were at the scene and tried their best and without equipment.
We warmly thank the Zakynthos Fire Service for the immediate response and extinguishing of the fire as well as the volunteers of the Lithakia volunteer group who were immediately at the scene of the fire and helped as much as they could.
