A new negative record of daily cases was recorded today in the country with EODY announcing 2166 new diagnoses. Thirteen patients have died in the last 24 hours.
The daily recording of coronavirus cases is more than 2000 is gradually consolidating, a fact that raises concerns about the resilience of our Health system.
The National Public Health Organization announced on the afternoon of Tuesday 3/11 that the new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease are 2166, of which 22 are associated with confluence and 40 were identified after checks at the country’s gates.
Of the 2,122 domestic cases, 22 are associated with known confluences.

The total number of cases amounts to 44246 (daily change + 5.1%), of which 54.7% are men. 4225 (9.5%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 14111 (31.9%) are related to an already known case.
The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 13, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 655 deaths have been recorded. 255 (38.9%) were women and the rest were men. The median age of our deceased fellow citizens was 79 years and 96.3% had some underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.
The number of patients treated by intubation is 169. Their median age is 65 years. 38 (22.5%) are women and the rest are men. 89.3% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years of age or older.
There are 300 patients who have been discharged from the ICU.
