Monday’s announcement, by the Ministry of Health – The total number of cases is 11,663
156 new cases of the new virus in the country were announced by the Ministry of Health on Monday, of which 13 were detected after checks at the entrance gates of the country. The total number of cases is 11,663, of which 55.8% are men.
2,258 (19.4%) are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 5,065 (43.4%) are related to an already known case.
42 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their median age is 69 years. 10 (23.8%) are women and the rest are men. 90.5% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years of age or older. 160 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have five more recorded deaths and 289 deaths in total in the country. 107 (37.0%) women and the rest men. The median age of our deceased fellow citizens was 78 years and 96.2% had an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.
