The spread of coronavirus at a young age is a fact that is proven by the epidemiological report of EODY, according to which 22% of the total cases in the last week, concern children from 4 to 18 years old. In the reference week, the admissions of new patients were 2,519, while the total number of discharges due to healing was 1,491. The ratio of admission of new patients to discharge due to cure was 1.69.
Monoclonal antibodies: In Greece the first 2,000 doses
At the same time, Greece received 2,000 doses of monoclonal antibodies aimed at preventing the worsening of Covid disease. Roche against Covid-19, based on monoclonal antibodies.
Specifically, 2,000 doses of this drug were received, in the context of Greece’s participation in the European Union program (contract SANTE-C3-2020-091) for the supply of the new treatment.
