Greece:- Coronavirus daily report for Friday 30/10 New negative record

Coronavirus: 1,690 new cases, five deaths, 128 intubated.

A new rapid increase in coronavirus cases, even more worrying is the increase in intubated cases in ICUs

Another negative record is set by the coronavirus in our country. The new data on cases in our country are even more tragic, as in just 24 hours we had 1,690 new cases and the number of intubations increased significantly. In just 24 hours,  the number of patients admitted to the ICU has increased by 14 as on Thursday, October 29, the number of intubated patients was at 114.

 

 

The data for the coronavirus in our country is tragic every 24 hours that pass and that is why the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, will announce on Saturday the new measures against the coronavirus, which were scheduled to be announced on Friday but due to the earthquake 6.7 Richter in Samos, were postponed for a day later.

 

For one more day, the number of coronavirus cases in our country is four digits. The announcement of EODY: “Today we announce 1690 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 64 are associated with known outbreaks and 35 were detected after checks at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is 37196, of which 55.2% are men.

 

4083 (11.0%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 13107 (35.2%) are related to an already known case.

 

128 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their median age is 65 years. 37 (28.9%) are women and the rest are men. 92.2% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years of age or older. 286 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

Finally, we have 5 more recorded deaths and 620 deaths in total in the country. 236 (38.1%) women and the rest men. The median age of our dying fellow citizens was 79 years and 96.3% had some underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.
