Coronavirus: 36 dead, 353 intubated, 445 new cases
The daily report of EODY on the cases and deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the country
The new laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus, on Sunday, January 10, are 445, of which 12 were identified after checks at the country’s gates. The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 36, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 5,263 deaths have been recorded. The number of patients treated by intubation is 353 (68.8% men). Specifically, EODY announced:
Today we announce 445 new cases of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), of which 12 were identified after checks at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is 14.4738, of which 52.2% are men. During the tracking it was found that 5616 (3.9%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 43776 (30.2%) are related to an already known case.
353 people are treated by intubation. Their median age is 68 years. 243 (68.8%) of the intubated are men. 84.1% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are aged 70 years and older.954 patients have been discharged from the ICU since the beginning of the pandemic.
Finally, we have 36 new deaths from COVID-19, reaching 5263 deaths in total in the country, of which 3107 (59.0%) men. The median age of our deceased fellow citizens was 79 years and 95.5% had some underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.
