The announcement of EODY for today, Wednesday, December 9, reports 1,667 new cases of coronavirus in the country in the last 24 hours, as well as 95 dead. At the same time, 578 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation.
In detail: “Today EODY announced 1,677 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 10 were detected following checks at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is 119,720, of which 52.7% are men. 5038 (4.2%) are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 33160 (27.7%) are related to an already known case.
578 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their median age is 66 years. 172 (29.8%) are women and the rest are men. 75.8% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are aged 70 years and older. 691 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 95 more recorded deaths and 3289 deaths in total in the country. 1312 (39.9%) women and the rest men. The median age of our deceased fellow citizens was 79 years and 96.2% had some underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over “.
