Coronavirus: Two dead and 411 new cases – 89 intubated.
The cases of coronavirus have amounted to 411 in the last 24 hours, as announced by EODY. Of these, 68 are associated with known cases and 26 were identified following checks at the country’s entry gates. The total number of cases is 18886, of which 56.1% are men.
2961 (15.7%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 7755 (41.1%) are related to an already known case.
89 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their median age is 70 years. 28 (31.5%) are women and the rest are men. 86.5% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years of age or older. 214 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 2 more recorded deaths and 393 deaths in total in the country. 144 (36.6%) women and the rest men. The median age of our deceased fellow citizens was 78 years and 96.7% had an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.
