Today we announce 262 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 22 were detected after checks at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is 6177, of which 54.8% are men.
1528 (24.7%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 3002 (48.6%) are related to an already known case.
24 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their median age is 63 years. 8 (33.3%) are women and the rest are men. 54.2% have an underlying disease or are elderly 70 years and older. 132 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 2 more recorded deaths and 216 deaths in total in the country. 73 (33.8%) women and the rest men. The median age of our dying fellow citizens was 76 years and 95.8% had some underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.
