We love what we do here at Zakynthos Informer. We love sharing the amazing places to visit, traditions and culture, and bringing relevant news and information about the island, to our members, is so important to us.
In the last few months it’s been tough for all of us. The whole world has been united in dealing with the disruption of a pandemic, something we never really expected to face, and we know that many people need to know what’s happening as soon as possible, because they have been looking forward to their holidays.
The Zakynthos Informer team have been working overtime recently to ensure tourists have all the information they need; if their flights will go ahead, what’s open in resorts, what restrictions are in place when they arrive such as quarantine and mask rules.
We have, and are continuing to gather all this information, so you all know what’s happening and are as up to date as possible.
What the Zakynthos Informer team would ask for however is a little help. Please bear with us, we are dealing with an avalanche of information, every single day. The situation, which is continual and fast moving, means that sometimes we are writing multiple posts at any one time.
No screenshots or copying please
We also know that because of the situation, people like to be able to share information, lately however many members have been screenshotting posts or copy and pasting texts from our website and Facebook pages. Unfortunately we don’t allow this. If you want to share our information please click the website URL and share it or invite people to join the Facebook group and tag them on the relevant posts.
Please can we ask that you:
- Don’t screenshot our Facebook or website posts (it breaches copyright)
- Don’t copy and paste any text from our Facebook or website posts (it breaches copyright)
- Please don’t share any screenshots or copy and pasted text from our Facebook or website posts (it breaches copyright)
As a team, we work hard and it’s soul destroying to have our work screenshot and copied. It’s not okay. We’re now getting daily reports of this happening across Facebook groups and we would kindly and respectfully ask that anyone who is or has done this please stop.
Thanks for you help and support with this, and we will continue as a team to work hard and bring updates and information to you as soon as we can.
