“The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 4,033. Of which 15 were identified after checks at the country’s gates.
The total number of cases is 301,103 (daily change + 1.4%), of which 51.3% are men.
Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 55 are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 2,401 are related to an already known case.
Daily pandemic progression: The daily distribution of confirmed cases is as follows (the line represents the total, cumulative distribution of cases).
The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 93. While since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 9,054 deaths have been recorded. 95.6% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.
The number of patients treated by intubation is 802 (63.2% men). Their average age is 67 years. 83.4% have an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,901 patients have been discharged from the ICU. The admission of new Covid-19 patients to the hospitals of the territory is 458 (daily change -15.03%).
The average seven-day admission is 520 patients. The average age of cases is 44 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the average age of death is 79 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
In Attica, most new cases of coronavirus are recorded for another 24 hours and on Tuesday, April 13, according to the distribution of cases announced by EODY. Specifically, out of the 4,033 total cases of coronavirus, 1,812 new cases are recorded in Attica, 554 were detected in Thessaloniki, while another 95 cases were recorded in Achaia.
