The new rally programmed has been announced, which also includes a strike on Thursday 14th of February by Hospital staff followed by a rally at 12.30 pm in Solomos Square.
With the slogan “We are stepping up the fight for the immediate operation of the ICU, the Paediatric Clinic and the EKAB”, the Labour Association states:
The Board of Directors of the Zakynthos Labour Association decided unanimously to announce a 3-hour standoff on Thursday 14th February 2019 and at 12:00 noon. to 15:00 pm in order for private sector employees to participate in the movement – rally for the Hospital.
The rally is a continuation of the actions that the Labour Association together with other associations of Zakynthos has begun with requests:
– To operate here and now the ICU. and all wards to operate with the necessary staff.
– Re-opening of the paediatric clinic with full coverage of medical staff.
– Employing the EKAB.
– To fill all deficiencies and gaps in the hospital to ensure its smooth operation.
