During the period 01/05/2020 – 30/06/2020 the “Bailey” bridge near Saint Haralambos will be open for use for trucks. Provided they keep a distance between them of 40 metres, using the road from Varvaki street to Lombardo Avenue. This is to help in the loading and unloading of goods during the summer months.
Pedestrians, however, will not be allowed to use the bridge during this period due to safety reasons.
In addition the Port Police have also mentioned that cars will not be allowed to park within the port area of Agios Dionysios during the same period (01/05/2020-30/06/2020). For this reason the port will close after the last scheduled ferry has arrived an hour later and will then re-open an hour before the first scheduled ferry is to depart.
As far as the port of Saint Nicholaos known as Porto, pedestrians will not be able to use the port area mainly due to safety reasons during the period of 01/05/2020- 30/06/2020.
Fines will be implemented to those who do not adhere.
