The canrival committee has started preparations for this year’s carnival which starts on Sunday the 9th February, 2020. In a press release the comittee states:-
We invite Zakynthos Primary and Secondary Education Parents and Guardians Associations, Cultural Organizations and Carnival Groups to submit to the Zakynthos Municipal Carnival Committee, by January 27th, 2020, their theme for the events during carnival of Zakynthos, 2020.

ANNOUNCEMENT
We request that all schools participating in the PICCOLO Carnival poster contest submit their paintings (from 8:00 am to 14:00 pm) by Monday 27th January 2020 at the Zakynthos Municipality Reception.
