Over the summer Zakynthos has certainly had its fair share of beautiful superyachts. Well today is no different. Superyacht Rio Rita has certainly charmed us with her presence.
The super luxurious boat has been moored in our port for a couple of days. It arrived at our shores on Saturday 31st August and has certainly caught the eyes of many.
The boat, according to sources, is owned by the Greek Shipping family Latsis.
Originally built at the “Friendship De Vries” shipyard in the Netherlands and completed in 1984.
The superyacht can accommodate up to 16 guests with 28 crew members.
On her 21st birthday the boat was modernized by Amels. They replaced the square transom stern to a swim platform and symmetrical curved stairs to the main deck. These additions took the boat to reach 56 meters in length. Her top speed is 16 knots. Although owned by Greeks, she flies under the U.K flag.
If you are wandering around the port she is definitely worth having a look. Quality at its best and certainly a superyacht that stands out from afar.
