Temperatures to rise over the weekend.

Hot! Hot! Hot is the word we here today and it looks as though it will get hotter.

Finally! I hear some of you say,  a chance for some of us to dip out feet in the water, Oh yes, there are some of us that haven’t as yet and let’s face it, the weather hasn’t been what us Zakynthians would call a lead in to our summer season, more like a lead into our autumn. So, here you go and we are sure that our visitors who are staying with us over the next week or so will not be dissapointed.

Today, we have temperatures rising up to 28 degrees Celsius, with a low going into the early hours of the morning on Saturday, at 17 degrees Celsius. Saturday afternoon will reach a high of 30 degrees around 16.00p.m, so get that extra sun tan lotion out, the one with high protection, whilst the low will be during the early hours on Sunday morning, being no more than 23 degrees Celsius.

Sunday will be even hotter, ooooh yes it will reach at least 33 degrees Celsius and the low will be around 24 degrees Celsius.

As of Monday and over the next week the temperature will waver between 33 degrees and 29 degrees Celsius during the day and then drop to a low wavering between 23 degrees and 21 degrees.

Zakynthos Informer would like to stress that during these periods of heat, please make sure you drink plenty of water, use plenty of high protection sunscreen and for your children’s safety try and keep them out of the sun as much as possible to avoid heat stroke and other sun related conditions.
