At the same time, Mr. Laskos points out that “it is imperative that the citizens realize that those who do not have the necessary documents, which are thoroughly checked, will not go through the tolls. We ask them, therefore, not to try to leave, if they do not have the necessary documents “.

The controls of ELAS, in view of Easter, continue at a steady pace. In the framework of the measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, mainly at the tolls of the national roads Athens-Corinth and Athens-Lamia, but also at their side streets. It is noted that according to the data of the Police, the number of vehicles that came out has decreased in the last 24 hours. from the tolls of Elefsina and Afidnes, while those who entered increased.

In particular, from the morning of Saturday, April 24th 06.00 until the same time this morning. 11,336 vehicles left the tolls of Elefsina, while 9,710 entered. Respectively, from Friday 23/4 to Saturday 24/4, 17,426 vehicles left, while 15,496 entered.

Regarding the tolls of Afidnes, in the last 24 hours 18,201 vehicles left and 17,896 vehicles entered. In the previous 24 hours, 19,644 vehicles left, while 18,234 entered.

Finally, it is reminded that the movement for health reasons is allowed only to a public health structure. Which must be certified by a document of the structure itself. Also, the movement is allowed only for a one-time trip for the following reasons. To the place of permanent residence, to a funeral, to divorced parents. While in all cases, of course, the citizens must show the necessary documents.

It was also clarified that the combined use of a movement certificate for work purposes and E1 for a one-time transfer to a permanent residence is not allowed.
