Tomorrow, Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 February 2021, all the schools of the island will remain closed, due to the bad weather “Medea”, as announced by the Deputy Regional Governor of Zakynthos, George Stasinopoulos .

The announcement:

In the Peripheral of Zakynthos, due to the expected occurrence of bad weather “Medea”, and the added difficulty of operation of schools.  The safety of students is very important. Due to severe weather conditions and especially the low temperatures that will prevail, from today Sunday and for the next days , the schools of both Primary Education (Kindergartens – Primary Schools) and Secondary Education (Gymnasiums – Lykeio) throughout the Regional Unit of Zakynthos will remain closed on Monday 15/02/2021 and Tuesday 16/2021 .
