A news report by reporter Andreas Papadimitriou of Zante Report states that 2 new cases of covid-19 have been confirmed.

New cases.

Two women, a mother and her daughter from Macherado tested positive for the coronavirus. Following the instruction of the Hellenic Health Authority (EODY), As they have slight symptoms they do not need hospitalization.  Authorities are following their progress during a 14-day self quarantine at home, while tracking the source has already begun.

Total cases.

The two new confirmed cases increase the number of Zakynthians infected with the coronavirus, from the beginning of the pandemic in early March, until today, a total of nine people.
