The Lions have doubled their wins and have now stand at 2 for 2! Thodoris Dragona’s team was the winner in a superb match at Aggerikos with a 4-2 win for Kypseli Flames. The home side scored after a self- goal by Paul Vytoulkas. Spyros Zontos at 46΄ equalled 1-1. Christos Bachos was the one to make it 1-2. Pavlos Vithoulkas overcame his mistake and put the score at 1-3. Andreas Kotsas again put Kypseli Flames back in the game and reduced it to 2-3 allowing A. Bastas to delay and make the final 4-2 score for his team.
Honouring the goals Panartemisiakos!
They didn’t win, but neither did Aiolos Sarakinado and Panartemiakos in Saturday’s big game. Both teams desperately wanted to win. However, the match was balanced and if it was a team that had to win it was Panartemisiakos who had 2 major opportunities and three attempts at goal! The first half was fairly divided. The centre game saw strong duels but not aggressively, however the teams could not score. The only highlight belonged to Panartemiasiakos with Korfiatis with the ball hitting the bar! The same scene continued with the team of Th. Parastatidis taking the initiative of the movements. The Deers continued their pressure, they had 2 great moments with Elezi and Korfiat but they also had 2 attempts at goal with Elezi and Tsirigiotis! So, unfortunately, they were unable to get a victory over a remarkable opponent who was not aggressively dangerous.
