A man was arrested, early in the morning yesterday (30.08.2021), in Zakynthos, by police officers of the Security Department, for drug trafficking and for the crime of trafficking counterfeit notes.

Later, further investigations at the man’s home were carried out by police officers of the Zakynthos Security Department, in the presence of a court official. Packages with raw hemp weighing -16.2- grams, cocaine was found and confiscated in various places, weighing -1.8- grams, a precision scale, the amount of -1,655- euros, a banknote of -50- euros of dubious authenticity, -180- pounds, as well as -90- laughing gas ampoules and three expansion packages for use.
Preliminary investigation of the case was carried out by the Zakynthos Security Department.
The citizen was taken to the Public Prosecutor of Zakynthos.
