Initially, -2- foreigners who tried to travel abroad illegally were arrested.
Two forged travel documents were seized.
On the afternoon (07.08.2022), at the airport of Zakynthos, three foreigners (two women and one man) were arrested by police officers of the Security Department, as the case may be, for facilitating the illegal exit of foreigners from the country, as well as forgery of documentation.
Specifically, during the passport control, it was found by the police that two of the arrested (a man and a woman), using fake travel documents, attempted to board a flight bound for Italy illegally.
Subsequently, from the data of the police investigation, it emerged that the aforementioned persons had obtained the forged travel documents from a foreign woman traveling on the same flight, who was located and arrested at the airport, while a mobile phone was found and confiscated in her possession .
