Hotel Investment Partners and AMR Collection open AluaSoul Zakynthos Hotel
Hotel Investment Partners (HIP), owner of hotel units in Southern Europe, owned by Blackstone Investment Fund and hotel management company Apple Leisure Group (ALG), part of Hyatt, recently announced the opening of AluaSoul Zakynthos – former Plagos Beach hotel in Zakynthos – after extensive renovation.
HIP and Blackstone have invested nearly € 5.4 million to upgrade and transform the hotel, which is managed by the Alua Hotels & Resorts brand.
The renovation includes the reconstruction of the common areas and the rooms with upgraded aesthetics in order to create comfortable and welcoming spaces, as well as unforgettable experiences. AluaSoul Zakynthos is a 4-star beachfront adults-only all-inclusive hotel. It has 161 rooms, all renovated, of which 48 are intended for guests of “My Favorite Club”. In addition, guests of the My Favorite Club have access to exclusive facilities, such as exclusive pool area, private check-in and check-out, exclusive lounge, reserved areas in restaurants, larger and better-placed rooms, superior bathroom amenities etc.
AluaSoul Zakynthos has three restaurants. The main Terra Café restaurant serves local and international specialties. In addition, it hosts theme nights for food lovers. Kentia Pool Club is an ideal place for lunch, overlooking the pool and the sea. Mare Nubim is an à la carte restaurant, serving selected dishes made from fresh local produce.
The renovation of AluaSoul Zakynthos followed a sustainable design and construction process and its operation follows modern sustainable criteria. The renovation was supported by Alpha Bank, which provided the financing for the execution of the expenditure.
