KAMPI ZAKYNTHOS WITH ITS AMAZING SUNSETS.
On the west side of the island you will find the mountain village of Kampi with its breathtaking views of the Ionian.
Kampi a small village surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, offers breathtaking views as it is located on the edge of the cliff in the area known as Skiza. From here you can enjoy the amazing views over the Ionian Sea from the height of 300m, something that hundreds of visitors to Zakynthos do every year.
Apart from the amazing sunsets, which take your breath away, the village also has the Mycenaean cemetery with the graves, which although were raided, still had several artefacts from the Mycenaean period including vases and tools.
The village is also famous from the gigantic cross, erected their to honour the lives lost during the Second World War. The picturesque village has fewer inhabitants during the winter compared to the summer, when tourism swarm there to watch the amazing sunsets. Apart from Kampi, the whole of Zakynthos is a perfect location for couples and families alike, who are able to find whatever they want for the perfect holiday, from crystal clean waters and amazing beaches, tavernas and all forms fb of entertainment. It’s no wonder Zakynthos catches so many in her spell , causing visitors to return year after year.
