A 76-year-old man was arrested in Macherado for provoking a fire – He was fined € 300 by the Fire Department.

According to ΕΡΜHΣ news, the man was arrested yesterday by the Fire Brigade in regards to a fire that broke out in the village of Macherado.

The fire burnt an acre of land, while the man apart from facing criminal charges will also have to pay an additional administrative fine of 300 euros.
