It’s great to see so many positive articles highlighting the island this spring, and we have another one that highlights a different kind of accommodation, Villas. Travel Weekly has published a piece listing the best villas in the Mediterranean. Six villas make up their list, with two located in Greece and one in Cyprus. The locations are:
- Corsica
- Cyprus
- Epirus
- Majorca
- Sicily
- Zakynthos
Sitting at number four on the list are villas located in the north of Zakynthos. The villas featured are close to Agios Nikolaos, and its small cove which contains a beach, boats and tavernas. This part of the island is beautiful. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of Zakynthos Town and the other main island resorts. For those who still want to explore Navagio Bay and its famous shipwreck, Porto Vromi and the small traditional villages of the north are still close, and worth exploring.
Villas are a great option for island accommodation, and perfect for groups of friends or families. So, if you’re looking for something different in a new part of the island a villa may just be for you!
