The International Space Station made an impressive pass over Greece and we were able to see what the Ionian Sea looks like from space, specifically its southern side which includes Zakynthos, while Kefalonia and Ithaca can also be seen.
ekefalonia.gr published the photo of the International Space Station and you can see how the islands of Zakynthos, Kefalonia and Ithaca look from above, with the image really being extremely impressive.
Look for the space station…
The International Space Station passes overhead several thousand worldwide locations. It is the third brightest object in the sky and easy to spot if you know when to look up.
Visible to the naked eye, it looks like a fast-moving plane only much higher and traveling thousands of miles an hour faster!
Greece.
This is the tracking details of when it is possible to see the station from our Island, you will have to be an early bird, though.
A live tracking map can be found on this link → ISS tracking live
