Shock in Zakynthos as the news of the death of a 33-year-old Italian tourist, who went today (Sunday 08/08/2021) for a snorkel with his company in the area of Porto Roxa.
The 33-year-old parted away from his friends, wanting to fish with his spear gun, but he was slow to return, as a result his friends were looking for him.
With the help of permanent residents of the area, he was, unfortunately found dead.
The Zakynthos Port Authority was immediately notified, which is currently retrieving the body of the unfortunate man.
The exact causes of his death will be known after the necropsy – autopsy at the Forensic Medicine Service of Patras.
