A tragic accident took place today, Monday, February 21, at 2 pm at a marble trading company in Kamara Agios Lazaros on Anapafseos Street, resulting in the fatal injury of one person and the serious injury of two others, who are being treated in critical condition at our local Hospital.
The attempt to free the workers who seem to have been crushed by marble during work in containers was dramatic and was attended by men of the Fire Brigade, police and rescuers of EKAB. The special rescue vehicle of the Fire Brigade was also used with the equipment it has for such difficult cases.
