Zakynthos Informer is calling for help in a case that is of utmost urgency.
The Zakynthian couple are calling on their fellow citizens to help their little boy, Vassilis.
As we all know we often see calls for economic help on social media and often it turns out to be a scam. In this case it is true. We have checked our sources and with reliable people within our community. Sadly this is true the little boy does need help!

Doctor’s message:- “Dear friends the time has come for us to help the family ourselves! All doors have been closed! Please announce that whoever wants to help they can get in touch with me, Ifigeneia or Christina”

These people are trying to gather money for the little boy’s operation. The boy’s operation is scheduled fro the 9th of October, 2019.
A child needs our help!!!
Vassilis is only 9 months old and has a craniocerebral disorder (ie, the frontal bone is united and presents the so-called triangular forehead). In order for the baby’s brain to grow properly, the eyes should be operated on in two weeks.
Unfortunately, the state health mechanism is stumbling and months have passed without giving the slightest attention to the problem that little Vassilis is facing.
Time is running out! It is limited and they are already long overdue waiting for the state to function.
For these reasons, we ask for your help in order for our little Vassilis to have surgery and to live the rest of his life like any other human.
