A 76-year-old fellow citizen lost the battle with the coronavirus late at night while being treated at the General Hospital of Zakynthos.
This is the fourth victim on the island, since the beginning of the pandemic, who lost his life due to coronavirus disease. We should mention that he also suffered from serious underlying diseases which further hampered the course of the disease.
Our unfortunate fellow citizen had been hospitalized in the hospital of the Achaean capital previously and in the last few days he was transferred to the specially designed clinic for covid-19 patients.
Note that the 76-year-old will be buried according to the EODY protocol
