The Theatre of Zakynthos and the Dance Complex of Levante are organizing a two-day traditional art festival with folk theatre, traditional dances, songs and music from Zakynthos, Kefalonia, North Tzoumerika Northern Greece Epirus and Progradets from Albania in Agios Dimitrios Square.
The schedule of events with the participating groups is as follows:
Saturday 19/10/19
8.30 pm: Kastoria Cultural Development Group “Miysi” with music, songs and dances from the area
9:15 pm: Dance group of Chouliaradon from the Municipality of Northern Tzoumerika with music, songs and dances from Epirus
Sunday 20/10/19
5 pm: Theatre of Zakynthos – “Fioro the Levante”. Traditional Zakynthisn omilia “The Kakkava” by Nikos Karatzas (1834) with dances and songs from Zakynthos
6 pm: LASGUSH – PORADECI Music and Dance Ensemble of the Municipality of Pogradec with music, songs and dances from the area.
7:00 pm: Cultural Association of Kephalonia and Ithaca BREATH OF THE IONIOS with music, songs and dances from Kephalonia
