Retail lockdown remains – Shopping from click away-only stores – Closed malls and malls – Conditions for churches – Traffic ban remains
Retail will remain closed as announced by Stelios Petsas, as the epidemiological burden of the coronavirus does not allow the safe opening of stores. Therefore, due to the burden of the courier companies, the opening of the commercial stores will be allowed for the customers to receive the products they have pre-ordered through the click away method from next Monday 13/12. Besides, the hairdressers and the bookstores will be open with extended hours, as well as the churches on Christmas day (25th December) and Epiphany Day ( 7th January.
Malls, shopping malls, etc. will remain closed.
- From 13/12 to 7/1 collection by click away from the stores
- Opening of hairdressers from Monday 13/12 with extended hours 7:00 in the morning to 9:00 in the evening only by appointment
- Bookstores all over the country, also with extended hours and up to 4 customers per 100 sq.m.
- Opening of churches on Christmas Day and Epiphany Day only – up to 9 people in churches up to 25 people in metropolitan churches – The Epiphany celebrations of Baptising the waters will NOT take place, this is to avoid crowds converging.
- Prohibition of travel from 22:00 to 05:00 until January 7
- For travel for retail, hairdressers, bookstores will be declared by SMS to 13033 using the code number 2
- Preventive quarantine for those returning to the country is limited to 3 days from the original 10.
