It was perhaps the most important event of the year. The people of Zakynthos had been waiting for a long time and the most well-organized presence of the work by the composer himself and his collaborators seemed to have paid off. The crowd gave an enthusiastic approval of the event which left many shouting out for more.
On the occasion of the anniversary of the 200 years since the beginning of the Greek Revolution, Zakynthos raised its Musical Height and thunder was heard as far as Messolonghi.

The concert included a large symphony orchestra consisting of artists from Athens and Zakynthos and a mixed choir with artists from the choirs LIBRO CORO, IONIO KYMA, MPONΈS NOTES.
