It’s been announced today that any travellers who visit Greece from the 15th of March 2022 will no longer be required to complete a PLF form (Passenger locator form).
The decision was announced by Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias, who said that Greece’s COVID-19 committee had decided to remove the PLF form to refocus on vaccination status. He hopes that removing the PLF form as an entry requirement to Greece will make travelling easier for tourists in 2022.
“Following the recommendation of the health ministry’s committee of experts, the completion of the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) by visitors from all countries for entry into Greece is abolished as of March 15, 2022. This simplifies entry procedures for travellers, shifting the emphasis to the control of vaccination certificates,” said Kikilias.
We will of course report on any updates to travel protocols as the summer season gets closer.
