The 13th match, next-to-last, of the 4th group of the 3rd national division, against Pangytheatiko. One of the most crucial games in the history of the Zakynthian club, as they are hoping to be promoted to the 2nd national division.
The coach of Doksa, Yiannis Vertzagias mentioned the game with Pangytheatiko and invited people to fill the stadium. “Certainly we want as many people as possible to strengthen the team. The time has come for a promotion. The last time we won the advantage in favour of Tragano and we have to take advantage of it. The girls are ready. I think they are psychologically ready”.
Mr. Vertzagias commented on how much the possible promotion to the second womens division will help. “I think it will do them good to go up to the Second national division. It will improve them as players. It also helps that we have had invites to the National Young girls team and this is positive. Next year we expect to have other invites”. For Doksa Pigadakia Evelina Kristana was invited to the pre-selection of National Young Girls and she will travel and train, on 1st-3rd May, to Volos to show her talent. Also this year were invited and went to the pre-selections of the National Young Girls the following players of the club: Griva, Pilika, Arvanitaki, Manesis, Voutsina, Antiohus and Morfi. Of course there are other girls who have not been invited, but they have many possibilities and in the future will occupy the people of the national groups.
For Doksa, of course, the game with Pangytheatiko is particularly important, which will probably finalize the promotion to the Second National Womens division.
