Results from the Pasteur Institute have proven negetative on both accounts.
Two of our fellow citizens, who are being treated at the General Hospital of Zakynthos were tested and the results released earlier today.
Both are negative to COVID-19.
From the beginning of the pandemic and upto today, 49 samples have been taken at the General Hospital of Zakynthos.
Six were positive for coronavirus and 41 negative. At the moment we only have one known reported case.
It should be noted that our of the 49 samples taken two were sent to the Pasteur Institute yesterday, Saturday 11th April 2020.
Results may be released later today.
