The Hellenic Tourism Organization addressed an open invitation for free promotion on the VisitGreece App to all Greek companies.
The General Secretary of EOT, Dimitris Fraggakis, with a letter sent to chambers, institutions and associations of almost all professionals in the country, who have either direct or indirect relationship with tourism, invites companies to be displayed for free in the official “destination app ” our country.
As mentioned in the letter of the Secretary General of EOT, “VisitGreece App is a useful tool for visitors to Greece, in which they can quickly and easily find travel information, as well as real-time information on tourism issues.”
The Visit Greece App started a few months ago and already has over 700,000 downloads. The application extracts and channels information from the EOT portal www.visitgreece.gr.
In order to take advantage of the excellent promotion opportunity in the application, companies are invited to register on the websites: www.visitgreece.gr and www.visitgreeceapp.com, by selecting the field “Business Registration”.
The application also provides the ability to update information about the business, update the photographic material, while businesses can publish special offers and experiences for users of the application. All service is offered completely free of charge.
The Visit Greece App is an initiative of the Ministry of Tourism and EOT, developed in collaboration with Mastercard, Eurobank and Warply. The innovative project has already received significant distinctions, while it was also awarded as the Top Application of the Year for 2021 by the e-volution awards.
As stated by the Minister of Tourism Haris Theocharis, “the invitation that EOT addresses to every tourism business and professional for free promotion through VisitGreece, is crucial and extremely important, especially in the current situation. The VisitGreece application is the digital face of Greece and a means of immediate effectiveness. It connects the world of Greek Tourism with the tourist, wherever he is. I fully welcome and support the initiative of EOT. I invite every entrepreneur to take advantage of the great opportunity of free promotion given to him thanks to Visit Greece “.
